The idea of minimalist living is to keep living with less as to help make the earth greener. A good way to start is to find a floor plan and work with it to practice. Most of the project can be built using recycled materials from other tiny home builds from over the years.  What might be the most notable feature for your guests?  If you have a furry family member, think about floor material that is easier to clean up all the gifts that adorable puppies tend to drag in. Just think to put a pool outside or a porch for grilling or a nice evening outside. The exterior siding can be made from reclaimed hardwood. Image the interior walls rebuilt from thin strips of pine, cedar, or even mahogany. The bedroom railing out over the loft to provide a little more breathing room upstairs. It would not be good for someone with vertigo.
